The Long Island Elite National Teams returned to Somerset Academy Stadium in San Antonio Texas to compete in the annual New Year’s Bowl. 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U split their games, and 14U won both of their games.
The Long Island Elite National Team program has worked through skill development, education, and exposure to promote it’s players and give them the best possible chance of playing in college and onward.
This year has seen an unprecedented number of Long Island Elite National Team Alumni with Division I offers and/or commitments. Players like Josiah Brown (PENN STATE), Ian Strong (RUTGERS), Preston Carey (32 D1 OFFERS), KJ Duff (RUTGERS), Aaris Bethea (PENN STATE), Cayden Brown (SYRACUSE), Joseph Filardi (SYRACUSE).
Many others have received national attention and numerous Power 5 offers including offers from the distinguished SEC.
Now more than ever Long Island football has garnered national attention, and with that a new wave of college football recruiters have begun making the trip out in search of talent.
