Eddie Lobo

COACH, OPERATIONS

Coach Lobo believes in teaching competitive football at the youngest ages like the the football hotbeds in the country. He is a man who is about the kids and the kids only. As a leader and administrator he despises the local politics and nepotism that have historically hurt Long Island's football development, and he advocates for principles that have helped the region gain national recognition. As a coach he brings out the hidden potential in all of his ball players. He is one of the winningest Coaches in youth football for over 12 years and has tremendous relations with the families and communities he has been a part of. You would be hard pressed to find a coach with as much energy and passion. He is a loyal "organization man"; a team player. He's super strict with being on time, discipline, integrity, respect, and demands a relentless commitment to excellence and hard work from his players. He is a former All Long Island and All State player. He won the Bob Collatta award in 1999 for best Linebacker in Suffolk County, and was runner up for the Hansen award. He was the starting quarterback and starting middle linebacker for Brentwood in 1999, the year they went 11-0 and won the Long Island Championship. That team won the sportsmanship award, Coach of the year award and the very prestigious Rutgers Trophy. "My goal as a coach is that we raise good men and don’t lose our great talent to the streets or bad decision making", says Lobo.
