Ray Marx
Coach Ray Marx brings deep football experience, community leadership, and steady, values-driven mentorship to Long Island Elite Football. Inducted into the Semi-Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2024, Ray has been a long-standing builder of the game on Long Island. He was one of the original organizers of the Five Star Semi-Pro Football League and has served as the owner and head coach of the Long Island Panthers since 2005. Beyond the field, Ray is the owner of Lookus Pest Control and is a committed civic leader as President of the Gordon Heights Coach & Parents Association (a 501(c)(3) community organization) and President of the Gordon Heights Knights youth football program. His work reflects a consistent focus on opportunity, structure, and positive outcomes for young athletes and families. Ray’s combination of program leadership, business ownership, and community service provides Long Island Elite with valuable perspective across operations, culture, and player development. Known for his strong moral compass and convictions, he devotes tremendous time to helping raise competitive young football players while reinforcing the standards of discipline, accountability, and character that define the Long Island Elite mission.
