
Kahmal Roy
Coach Kahmal Roy has been involved with the Long Island Elite National team program since it's inception over 12 years ago. He played football at Hofstra University on a full ride where he broke numerous school records and was named to multiple NCAA All-American teams. He had a professional career with stints at the N.Y. Jets, Saskatchewan Rough Riders and NY/NJ Xtreme rosters. Later Coach Roy was the head coach at Holy Trinity high school where he quickly made a profound impact on the program and created a championship team while producing some of the highest recruits to come out of Long Island in a very short amount of time. He was instrumental in teaching players the nuances of getting recruited, and raising them in a culture of good values. He was instrumental in bringing in Head Coach Kirby from University of Georgia by helicopter to Holy Trinity High School to visit one of his top recruits. He was awarded coach of the year for his achievements at Holy Trinity, and quickly became a popular target for a college coaching career. Coach Roy was hired for a career in college football and is currently the running backs coach at Long Island University. He is extremely passionate about the sport, loyal in his relationships, and always willing to help players and families at all levels of football. In addition to coaching college football, he is the founder of Position Specific Training Academics Social Standards Athletics Program, a sports training company that helps athletes excel on and off the field.
