Benjamin J. Carey serves as President and Co-Founder of Long Island Elite Football, where for more than fifteen years he has helped redefine the standard of youth football across Long Island. Recognized as a central architect of the region’s modern football movement, Carey has built programs rooted in structure, accountability, safety, and long-term development. Under his leadership, the Long Island Elite National Team Program has produced a record number of Division I scholarship athletes, including multiple Power Five and SEC commitments, establishing Long Island as a credible pipeline to elite high school and collegiate programs nationwide. In 2023, Carey was named USA Select League Director of the Year, honoring his organizational leadership and national impact. Carey is also the creator of #TheBlueprintLIE495, a comprehensive education model that equips families with early guidance in recruiting strategy, academic positioning, character development, and Name, Image & Likeness literacy. As NIL transformed the collegiate landscape, he emerged as a respected voice on athlete brand protection and long-term positioning, traveling nationally to speak at camps, clinics, and schools on recruiting and NIL strategy. A longtime advocate for player safety and responsible governance, Carey chaired the first Long Island Summit on Football Safety at Nassau Coliseum in collaboration with the Hospital for Special Surgery and Suffolk County PAL. His leadership in safety standards and organizational integrity has been recognized by Suffolk County PAL President Anthony Williams and other regional leaders. Earlier in his career, Carey led Northport Youth Football during a period of historic growth and national visibility, including participation in an NFL USA Football commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. Beyond the field, Carey is the host of Byronic Heroes, a nationally streamed podcast focused on fatherhood, discipline, leadership, and culture. Through the platform, he expands the conversation beyond football, addressing the principles that shape resilient young men in an evolving world. At the core of his work is a singular mission: to develop young men of character, competitive excellence, and moral clarity, on the field and in life.
